How to Request a Price Match

To request a price match, simply:

  • Provide proof of the competitor’s advertised price (e.g., website link, dated mailer, quote).
  • Ensure the product is identical — same brand, model, colour, and condition (brand new, sealed).
  • Ensure the competitor has the item in stock at the time of the request.

Price Match Terms and Conditions

  • Requests must be made at the time of purchase and during the competitor’s promotional period.
  • Price match applies to regular, in-stock products from authorised New Zealand retailers only (not individuals or auction sites).
  • Competitor pricing must include all delivery, taxes, and fees to be eligible for matching.
  • The product must be a standard retail item, not clearance, closeout, liquidation stock, or special event pricing (e.g., Home Shows).
  • Freight charges from the competitor may be factored into the total price comparison.
  • Price match is available only for brand new, sealed, officially released products.
  • The reseller must be an authorised dealer for the brand or product.
  • Price match cannot be used with any TechCrazy promotional finance offers or bonus product offers.
  • We reserve the right to verify competitor stock availability and pricing before approving a match.
  • Typographical errors, misprints, or competitor price mistakes are excluded.
  • Membership pricing (e.g., SuperGold, Student Card, Farmlands) and loyalty discounts are excluded.

Exclusions

  • Products purchased using Afterpay, Zip, Finance Now, Humm, GEM Visa, or Q Mastercard.
  • Items purchased for resale, commercial, or professional use.
  • Daily deals, hourly sales, or pre-order promotions.
  • Delivery and installation service charges.
  • Trade-in or bonus bundle offers.

Important to Note

Price match must be validated before the purchase is completed. Once confirmed, you must complete the purchase within the time specified by our team (generally within 1 hour for online vouchers).
